This new web page was launched March 2nd,
2005 coincident with the discovery of the www.FamilyTreeDNA.com
web site - (explanation of the process). At present, we are
still looking into just how we are going to participate and what it will
mean for us. In the meantime, anyone out there in a presumed branch of our world-wide, thousands of surnames extended family happening upon
this web site can email Ruben

project.
[ A good example of an ongoing process can be
found at this http://www.terriau.org/dna.htm web site - the genealogy
there representing my mother's Acadian descented family. ]
A preliminary vision would be to test one male member of
each Ciriack, Ciriacks, Ciriaco, Cyiark, Cyriac, Cyriacks, Cyriacus,
Cyriaks, Cyriaque, Cyriax, Kyriacou, Kyriakou, Sierich, Syrich, Zirjacks
surnamed segment of an already genealogically identified family
tree. A Phylogenetic Tree and associated world map would be
prepared and published based upon those initial DNA samples - showing
both positive and negative results. Over time, the true blood line
Phylogenetic Tree and map would identify the surname spellings and
locales known to be matched to our familial DNA; along with those which
have been eliminated from consideration. (It may take more than one
sample from differing individuals to substantiate a surname spelling
and/or locale shown not to be part of the familial DNA.)
