May 2010:  The PBS show, "Lost & Found: The Legacy of the USS Lagarto", showed that one of the crewman who went down with the submarine in May 1945 had the Geriach surname.  A couple dozen other 'G' spellings in the 1990 surname sampling have now been added based upon this discovery.
